One of the things that might help you is a plug-in battery for emergencies like this. I have one that can run a laptop for 4 or 5 hours and it’s got 2 outlets on it so you can probably plug in a modem and a laptop until the power comes back on.
Yes, due to this crisis, I had to buy some gadgets to get sone extra battery life. Unfortunately, I had to leave the UPS back home when we moved in a rush and now will have to buy another one. I should be doing that next month.
