Yeah, I've muted a few posts from my communities because they've not followed the guide. I rarely downvote them although if the text in those posts is then subsequently deleted by the author I do downvote them. A post that says deleted as the only text doesn't deserve rewards.
I don't really understand those who choose to post into someone's community, don't wrong and then rant about being addressed for it. This happens right across the various communities, certainly the ones that are monitored, and the person posting incorrectly only has themselves to blame.
I like the sound of the ban hammer but I'd opt for a ban axe, Viking style. 😂
Many of us are used to the ban hammer, especially if it's an app under Meta; you go a bit left or right against the community guidelines and BOOOMMM 💣 BAN HAMMER. 🔨
It's funny really, you can't even speak your mind in these platforms anymore, it's mostly memes and jokes on there nowadays. People have stopped taking it all seriously, and only use these apps for communication and a bit of clowning around. Because even the slightest offense leads towards a month long ban, it doesn't even have to be anything "explicit".
I don't know if it's all controlled by AI or real people behind the scenes, but whatever or whoever it is, they are just too sensitive when it comes to monitoring content on these platforms. Most of these users are adults, and people sign up with their age and e-mails too, so why apply such a strong filter?
They probably even have a list, and if you get your name on there, then your account will be monitored 24/7. I know a few people who can barely even use the word "fuck", because if they do, then they get hammered straight to BAN-HALLA in just a few hours. 🔨😂

I don't have Facebook and Instagram or any other social media so I don't know what goes on there, but I've heard they ban people. I think hive is good in that way, but, rules still need to apply. Sure, people can say and do what they like, I don't want to see it another way...But just as someone feels they can come into my community and act as they see fit, so can I in addressing them. Freedom of choice goes both ways.
