RE: Some Thoughts about 9-11 and Original Art

As I briefly mentioned. Those were the best years of my life. I lived as an international student with more dignity that I even had here as a college professor.
I was able to help my family, friends, and relatives from there, and despite all the turmoil, one thing I admire about the States is the capacity to keep the country going and even improving in some areas. I met tons of good people; generous people who genuinely enjoy doing good to other, who cared about others' well-being. In churches, out of churches, people of all colors and ideological affiliations. That was quite an enriching experience.
About protecting the children I think it will take more that homeschooling. In fact, I think more should be done to change school systems so that parents do not have to go to the extreme measures of avoiding the system all together.
America has the potential to have the best school system but keeps doing a lot of wrong things, most of them based on theories that keep yielding bad results. Thanks, @cmplxty
