Hi @lauramica, thank goodness you spoke up in the restaurant, the man obviously had ulterior motives!

We can so easily be fooled by a person who may look friendly!

Back in the late 60s (yes I've been around a long time😉)we often hitchhiked but never alone. I believe the world however was a safer place then.
Just be careful would be my advice.

Hi Lizelle, thank you very much for your good advice. It's true, it's good that I opened my mouth in front of other people. I think hitchhiking in company is much safer too, I'll keep an eye out for it anyway. :)
