There exists such a thing as Turkey bacon?! I have never, ever heard of it in my life! I guess in a country where wild turkeys roam it should be a thing. Perhaps we should have kangaroo bacon here. 🤔

Funny. I just responded to the other one about turkey bacon. Fun fact: I can not type Turkey without this thing insisting I capitalize it.
Bacon. And sausage too.
Wait, so are saying there's no turkeys there?
Meant to write "wild" turkeys there. Adjusted now.
We have turkey, but we don't see them much in the supermarket unless it's this time of year. I occasionally see turkey drumsticks for sale throughout the year and turkey mince is common enough too (do you call it ground Turkey?). Never seen turkey bacon, though. Trying to think of they do turkey sausages, now. If they do, they'll be the small ones you can put in a bun.
I'm feeling your capitalisation pain right now too. Just had to change the 't' on all but one Turkey. And there it goes again!
Well that makes a lot more sense. Nah.. I'm not a city but at all can you tell?
Truth be told, wasn't until we started traveliving I realized how insanely catered to we are as Americans. Conveniences at our fingertips. Turkey sausage and Turkey bacon, that's nothin.. I had to go far far away to realize things like olives and kiwi are seasonal. 🤷🏼
In Australia we organic food is seasonal, so you really can't get fresh fruit and vegetables out of season. You can get none organic as imports, but out of season they cost much more than in season. They like to remind us that food is seasonal here. In the UK it was much less obvious. Fruit and very was year round, but it all tasted pretty sour or bland because it was picked early and shipped in from across the world. I never knew kiwis could be sweet before we came here! 😆
