If the situation naturally makes you uncomfortable, then one handles it accordingly. We all have our ways and the tools.
Can't collaborate without a conversation first. Hearing a "no" isn't the end of the world. And people don't need to be afraid to ask.
And yes. After seven years of encountering certain types and witnessing others having to deal with the irrational as well, I think by now most veterans at least have figured out the patterns and know what to look out for.
I haven't looked into your situation yet. Spent days snooping around everywhere, sifting through the noise, trying to get a realistic view of that drama over the weekend. I'm a bit drained but damn I just got back and this place was already popping off. Holy shit...

This is a good insight ... hadn't thought about Battleships for YEARS ... we are creeping to the edge of perception before the bull ... now we should expect that he like the vast majority of people in the world does not know Hive's full biography ... but he is open for Hivers to reach out to him and let him know ... don't torpedo him, but a little constructive setting straight might be in order...

Legally speaking, anyone can go draw a picture of someone else. I still haven't looked into your situation though to see how it was delivered. That matters. My situation along with a few other incidents, laws back me up. But I don't want to get into that.
Yeah, a couple people have different ideas, as I figured they would; missing the point a little though.
I'm less inclined to be worried about copywrite or some legal aspect of it, for me it's the principle of it. I even say in my post about the fact it's, the internet and people can do as they please, which is why I responded to the freedom that person showed to do as he pleased, with freedom of my own to, do as I pleased...because it's the internet.
There's a comment from a couple (muted) people on this post, but I haven't read them, I'm just not interested. The thing happened, I reacted, wrote a post based on my own thoughts and feelings and that's that; they have their opinions and are entitled to them, but those people are nothing to me, so I don't need to read what they say because they don't matter.
