RE: Masking

Manners, manners, WTF. What you and everyone else who have commented on this post should actually stop a second to think deeper and fully acknowledge without so much flattering agreements chasing easy upvotes from the OP. Is the mere fact that whatever that be what anyone decide to share publicly on internet, from that very moment it becomes public domain and therefore anyone can feel free to use it as they see fit without having to ask anyone's permission. Including monetizing it and making a profit from any derivative works from that public asset. And I'm gonna repeat it again, public asset.

So the smartest and most reasonable thing to do if we don't want our images, our photos, our words, our work or whatever we consider to be of our sole and exclusive property not to be used by others as they please, is simply not to make it public on Internet. Period.

Continuing making public on internet what we want to keep private or for our exclusive use and benefit waiting someone is gonna ask us permission to use it is plain narcissistically delusional.

Otherwise, just choose to distribute publicly whatever you consider to be of your absolute property and exclusive use only behind a paywall through an art or photography gallery, a publisher, a record label or through an artistic agent or lawyer after you or them have already made all the legal procedures and paperwork to obtain exclusive copyrights of your creations.

Sharing something publicly on the internet hoping someone will contact you and ask for permission to use it? Hehe yeah, It's time you came down off your high horse!
