I used to go swimming in 2nd to 7th year at school. It gave me a big advantage, as others from my class weren't so great at swimming, and this was the only thing I was good at in P.E.
But already after first year I actually wanted to quit the swimming training thing (mom wouldn't let me tho until I went to drama class in 8th grade).
Anyway I hadn't even swam for fun for a couple of years and this summer I went to a small lake one time. I felt so out of shape, I forgot how to breathe properly over the 😬
OMG I forgot to go back here. After a long pause for swimming that was the case for me as well. But now that I do it five times a week, it's getting better and I can stay longer inside the water without catching a breath. Swimming is really nice, I weighed in today and ended up losing 12 post and didn't realize in less than a week too! Have you been thinking to go back swimming?
Not really, I'm lately more interested in trying out kickboxing, but that also has stayed as just a thought. It's difficult to find time for any certain activities next to a 9-5 job and a kindergarten kid 😅
Hopefully you can find the time! a kindergarten kid sounds like a huge responsibility and also time and energy consuming; probably equals of an hour workout dealing with them 😅
