I totally agree with you on this. Many people thought (my old self included) that nihilism is a bad thing, but it's just actually a different perspective in life. It's just that it seems not to conform to the accepted norm on how we view life.

When my sister got sick, I was able to make rational decisions because I braced for the worst while my whole family became too positive. When the worst came, they were devastated while I alone decided on the necessary steps moving forward.
