I was checking out my house down there (unrelated to the storm) and my kids saw the car on the news in DC because we were the only people on the road at the time headed into the storm.

Haha! That's kind of funny now, but I'm sure it wasn't funny at the time your kids saw you, the only car headed into the storm! Did any of your friends in DC see your car on the road also?
Only the kids and one friend knew we were there and the only reason anyone thought anything of it is the newscaster made fun of the car going the wrong way. :)
LOL! I don't remember seeing it. We were all at my daughter's house riding the storm out, and maybe I was on cooking duty when that was on TV. We took turns, and of course, some couldn't cook. My daughter never lost electricity, while my whole neighborhood, a few miles away, didn't have power for over a week!
