I just finish making Spinach with chicken gizzard and pap 🙂

Spinach and gizzard a lovely meal, not sure about pap which I don't make often, prefer samp!

I haven't had samp in years it is nice when well prepared.

Samp reminds me off the days when I was new in SA worked as a gardener, the maid would prepare samp which was always watery I never liked it, I would just throw it away.

Samp well prepared with chakalaka vegetables, gizzards, chicken breast makes an all round good meal.

Soak and rinse samp thoroughly for about an hour before cooking, cook samp with gizzards and chicken breast slowly till thickens, last add tin of chakalaka when you don't have time to add fresh vegetables!

Now that makes me wanna have samp! I definitely would love it they you prepare!

Many years ago my neighbour and I enjoyed it, so when I made I used to hand a bowl over the wall for him to enjoy, his wife would not cook it LOL... Anything can be delicious if prepared the right way.

For one or two people only one cup needed unless you wish to refrigerate for next day as well. When tired of chakalaka try a can of Dholl (also easier to buy than make) which adds nice spicy flavour. Both canned food from PnP, sure Checkers might also have.

I sure do agree with you on that, that bit of passion put into cooking a meal goes a long way in making it delicious
