The word "Easter" is derived from Eastra, the name of the ancient German Goddess of Spring.
How fascinating, over here we say it is derived from Eostre, or Eostrae, the Anglo-Saxon goddess of spring and fertility!
I used to love painting hard boiled eggs and rolling them down hills:)
Now the only Easter decorations that I have are well chocolate eggs, hehe not sure if they will make it until Easter Sunday 🤣🤣🤣
