RE: The Festival Called Spring by Market Friday

in Market Friday2 years ago

Thanks for the reply. As you mentioned many of the users here have limited means. One of the posts that drew me to #MarketFriday was a mom budgeting her P2000 ($20USD) for weekly groceries. One thing I'd love to do...if you can think of a good way to do it.... is give two random members $10HBD and a challenge to bring home the best deals. A fun shopping challenge if you will.

Again, if its not a #marketfriday thing I'll try to bring it to #frugal not stingy....

But I'm so green at getting into blogger mindset I despair that I will never be a blogger.

Thanks for listening though.

I know who you speak of. She always does a great job. It is the same what can you buy for $10 that I do, but giving the money to them. It is a fun challengecand is always well recieved.

I had one user comment on the Actifit board that he can get a healthy dinner of Rice and Lumpia for P10 (about 20 cents USD). I would love to see what he brought home for $10.

Just for fun this is a picture of my haul today for about $4 HBD. It didn't make the cut for tomorrow's post but still.... 😊

Not bad. :) Thats possible. The Philippines is insanely cheap, as is Thailand. Surprisingly, Nigeria is higher than here on many things.

I hear Venezuela is also on the expensive side. Philippines is hit or miss depending where you live and what stores you go to....then again, I think that goes for everywhere :)
