Terrible! Maybe cold baths would have helped? I used to cover my kids will chilled water when they ran high fevers to chill them down. This summer our elderly dog collapsed and we didn't know why. Then we kept her out of the heat and I'd wipe her down with wet towels. Wasn't nearly so hot here as it was there.
Terribly sad. The mother must be heartbroken 💔
We used we towel trick but apparently the kitten just didn't survive. It's going to a while before I can see kittens. I am sorry about your dog too 🙁
