RE: Esp/Eng . Cayeron como del cielo!!!

What a beautiful story and more than that, what a wonderful family you have there that can appreciate nature enough to help it grow rather than destroy it.

I am so glad that you have raised your children to appreciate nature and I am so happy that your family rescued them and nursed them back to health and what a difference it made too!

They look so much healthier now. Thank you.

I too have a Parrot. She is an Indian Ring Neck and rescued from an abusive owner for about 15years.

I now have her and have nursed her back to health and am loving her with every breath I take, to take the trauma away from her little heart and soul and she deserves so much love.

It is a priviledge to have such a tiny creature- any animal, trust you the way she places her trust in me.

Tell you daughter that rust (in that cage)is very bad for birds because they chew it and it is toxic to them- Aswell as Avocado and Peace Lillies.

Birds are very sensitive creatures and can get sick easily and die very suddenly, so you have to do the research to know how to look after them properly and unfortunately most people don't.

I look at my birds poo every morning and weigh her every week, because changes in poo and weight loss are the first indicators of illness- especially Psittacosis and Beak and feather disease and unfortunately most birds in the wild have one of the other and they are both contagious to other birds- even if your bird is not showing symptoms, they may be carriers.

Anyway, I'm sure that your daughter is intelligent enough to do the research so she knows how to care for those 2 gorgeous darlings so they all live a happy and healthy life.

And Indy Jean and I send our love and gratitude to you all from Australia! ❤️

Hi @chocolatescorpi , what a beautiful parrot you have, God bless him and you for that act of love towards him. Thank you very much for your words and your good advice. I already send them to my daughter to be very attentive, I did not know about the cage. Be sure that we will investigate a lot so that those adorable parakeets have a healthy life with lots of love, although I tell you that the cage is only to sleep and protect them from other animals, they are usually walking around the house as if they were puppies, hahaha. Have a wonderful day 😘💕

Thats great that they are not in the cage too much.

I don't put Mine in the cage much either- unless I'm at work but I don't even bother closing the door now anyway.

Indy spent 15 years locked up in a cage with no love and no escape and the only attention that she got was very bad attention......

Indy can't fly (too many broken wings from her previous owner) and she can walk, but she prefers to hitchhike everywhere on my shoulder...

So happy that yours will be cherished furever!
