Last week we found ourselves with an unexpected guest. She was brought to our house in the wee hours of the morning, while we were still asleep, by my daughter who found her wandering the street where she lives. My daughter would have loved taking her in except there are 3 energetic dogs in the house who just would not leave the newcomer alone. So my daughter thought it best to take her to us because she knows that my wife would love to keep her. Friends, meet Penny.
She is actually the fourth kitten that my wife has taken off from the streets since early this year. The first one is Charlie who was left alone by her human one night, crying his heart out. My wife went out, looked for him, and adopted him. That was in January of this year. Here's Charlie then and now.

Then there is Rosie who was almost ran over by a taxi in the street while she was walking hungry, not knowing she was in the middle of a busy intersection. My wife went down from our car immediately and took her home. She's been with us since. Here's Rosie then and now.

And the third, but not the last, is Ash. Another stray kitten who was out looking for food whom my wife happened to see. She was such a pitiful sight that she could not help but rescue her too. Here he is, then and now.

There are now 4 with the addition of Penny, who will have to be D'Artagnan if the first three are to be called the Musketeers lol.
Stay tuned folks. A fifth may be on its way too. But I do hope not too soon. They're growing up so fast they're creating a joyful mayhem inside the house. Stay safe everyone and have a great start to the week.

Ang lambing pa. For a rescued kitten hindi siya takot sa tao. Palagay ko meron siyang human na winala siya dahil babae siya. At hindi umiiyak. Feeling secured itong isang ito. Hindi katulad ng naunang tatlo lol.
