| Some days ago, I made a post about the exotic animals that I would like to have as a pet, the truth is that when I was writing it, I discovered a lot of things about different animals and I didn't want to let it go, so today I am going to talk about this little one. | Hace varios días hice un post que trataba sobre los animales exóticos que me gustaría tener como mascota, lo cierto es que cuando lo escribía, descubrí muchísimas cosas sobre diferentes animales y no quería dejarlo pasar, así que el día de les vengo a hablar de este pequeño. |

| Let’s start with this little buddy of just 1.10 lbs. they typically are known for their spines around the body, this little friend is more than that, they are one of the primitive insectivorous mammals with some 5 million years, that’s right, 5 million years! | Empecemos con este pequeño amigo de apenas 500 gr, si bien es archiconocido por sus púas alrededor del cuerpo, este amiguito es muchísimo más de lo que vemos, no por nada es uno de los mamíferos insectívoro primitivos más antiguos con unos 5 millones de años, así es, ¡5 millones de años! |

| Its style of life, even if is simple, it has been a great factor to the fact that they don’t change to much across the years. This little buddies despite their size, well they fight against the vipers, and they almost always are the winner in these encounters, besides, have a great poison immunity, awesome, right? I have something in common with them, like we DON’T have good eyes, but they have an amazing ear, that can perceive ultra sound between 250 and 60.000 Hz (and have an excellent nose too). | Su estilo de vida, aunque simple, ha sido un gran condicionante a que no hayan cambiado mucho en todos esos años. Estos pequeños a pesar de su tamaño, pues le entran a una pelea contra las víboras, siendo en la mayoría los ganadores los erizos y con una gran inmunidad al veneno, impresionante ¿verdad? Además de que tengo una gran afinidad con estos pequeños, como que NO compartimos una vista de lince, pero ellos tienen un oído envidiable siendo capaces de percibir ultrasonidos entre 250 y 60.000 Hz (y también con un excelente olfato). |

| These little ones spent almost all day sleeping, being that their activity is in good part at nights, an extra, did you know that these tenders little one’s snore when they sleep and besides, have dreams? A completely cuteness. | Estos pequeños pasan casi todo el día durmiendo, siendo que su actividad es en su mayoría nocturna, como extra, ¿sabían que estos tiernos pequeños roncan y además sueñan? Una completa monada. |
