Good morning everyone, I hope you are well! I want to tell you about my pet; One day out of nowhere my mother told me to accompany her to where my aunt, when we arrived, her dog had had puppies and she told me to choose one, it was the only yellow, all her brothers are brown and it was also the first to be born, We brought him home and obviously my mother told me that I had to be aware of him always; He was so small that he only slept, he would go behind anything, he would go out to eat and relieve himself, when he grew a little I would secretly bring him up to my room, I heard my mother's screams telling me to put him down that he was going to fill the furniture hairy so he could never go up to the second floor, although I think he is curious because he always looks up to know what there is.
In my house there are not many dogs, they are only elderly people, Reus grew too old that we could no longer let him relieve himself inside the house, we had to teach him to go out alone but we were afraid that he would knock someone down, the first three years They demanded a lot from us because he urinated on the doors, my family and I took turns teaching him now where he should urinate but he ran out every time we opened the door and it was very difficult to follow him, one day I had to accompany him and when he came out I went behind him. He of course was not going to run but when he got to where a neighbor was he was throwing stones at him, it bothered me too much I grabbed others and told him that if he hit another I would throw one at him, from that moment we stopped accompanying Reus, after time he no longer urinated the houses, I think it was only because of a puppy, the neighbors got used to him, now everything comes to my house to touch him and when he goes out with them he accompanies them wherever they go. Today he is 7 years old and he became well known in the urbanization, he barks very hard and since the nearby robberies are over, he is not at all angry but with any noise he alerts others and if he sees someone unknown if he gets a little upset.

As I already told you, something grew a lot that served him in several unfortunate moments, it turns out that he has been run over three times, two cars and a motorcycle, apparently those affected were the vehicles and the motorcycle driver, the hard days limping a bit but it was nothing serious either time.
His great appetite makes him eat anything, I don't even understand how he eats such big bones, on one occasion I had to get him from you know where a portion of shirt, clearly I did it very carefully so that it did not hurt.

On two occasions he has had the tick disease, there are drought seasons that come out too many, as I mentioned, he spends a lot of time on the street and every time he enters the house we take away all the ones we see, we apply any medicine to try not to get rid of them, when he has got this disease it is very sad to see him, he almost does not like to get up, he loses his appetite, his skin turns red, I think he will always have it in his blood but it is treated, when It is tick season and if your defenses are down, the disease appears again.
The difficult thing is to inject it, when you have to put medicine I have to touch my father, like any dog, his reaction is to bite and we have to tie his mouth well to be able to do it.
About 7 months ago he got a myiasis, which is known as nuche or worm, we know that when the worms do not breathe they must come out and that's when you take them out, I put petroleum jelly on it and the next day when I removed them I put a little gasoline on them dissolved in water That kills them little by little, before this you must cut the hair carefully and when you finish each cure wash well with soap to remove the chemical and add Vaseline again, this we repeat daily until it disappeared.

He is afraid of his chain, he knows that when we grab him it is to inject him or to bathe him, he does not like a little that we bathe him, whenever we do it he runs away and gets full of mud but at least the stink is removed a little Before bathing I play with him as much as possible to give him affection and obviously to remove the smell at once hahaha; Another thing we scold him for is that he loves to be in the garbage, I don't know what's wrong with him but it seems that we didn't give him food, I don't understand, we even bought him a muzzle and it hurts them; As 8 families give us food waste to thank God, hunger does not pass, I want to clarify that the dog gives him diarrhea, he has never been able to eat it.

It can be said that Reus is in his middle age but I think that his race suffers from osteoarthritis, when it is very cold he finds it difficult to get up or it hurts, he is the best friend I have had and I want to take advantage of him for many more years; He only had a daughter who is just like him, I would like later when my child is not to have a puppy of hers. For the moment I will continue to bathe him, scold him, and play with him; he certainly is a good dog. For those who wonder why his name is, he called it after a German soccer player (Marco Reus).

The photos have been taken in the course of his life.

Thanks for your time.
