Recently, HivePosh shares on Reddit have been getting roughly 300 upvotes each week. From what I know, it means around 450 visitors to Hive front-ends every week and, thus, 2,000 visitors per month.
I asked ChatGPT how much it costs to attract that many visitors by means of Google ads and got this answer:
2000 visitors isn't bad for a start, but I believe we can get more.
A long read, which is an expert's response to the news, is always a success if you post the article in a subreddit where the readers share the author's beliefs
More people sharing Hive links on Reddit would obviously help but there are limitations other than the amount of sharers.
One of them is a lack of qualitative long reads on Hive. Hive curation is incredible because it gives people the freedom to be creative in their own way and get rewarded for it. Its reverse side is that Hivers too often prefer consistency to quality.
The good news is that there is quite a lot of interesting stuff on Hive in the culinary field: authors share authentic recipes from all corners of the world. Hivers write a lot about traveling either, and here's the problem: it's usually hard to share such posts on Reddit.
An expert long read shared in the most appropriate subreddit; written/shared by @theworldaroundme
Would be great HivePosh users could share the most shareable posts many times but HivePosh doesn't reward the sharer more than once and stops rewarding at all 6 days after the first share of a post. Thus, the dream of ever-green rewards for the best articles remains a dream.
Another limitation is that some HivePosh users prefer sharing Hive links in easy Reddit communities, for example, in mostly dead subreddits r/blogger and r/blogs even though @poshtoken gives only small upvotes for shares there.
It is commendable that many of us support r/Splinterlands with Hive link sharing there but this subreddit hardly can bring many outsiders to Hive, and gives you no chance to get a ton of Reddit upvotes.
To understand what a lot of upvotes mean in terms of rewards, keep reading for the details.

Yeah joined reddit to share some of my post indeed. not the greatest experience i cannot post anything its being removed directly.
Just tried to post another one:
Link to latest post:
Apparently I'm shadow banned...
I did an appeal to lift it.
Clayborn also checked status on sub reddit splinterlands...
Hive and peakd are much better, hive rocks 💪
Hey! What a tough experience, sorry to hear this.
As I see r/Splinterlands got tired of links and asks people (in their rules in the right column) to stop self-promotional link-dropping:
So they probably banned you and then, perhaps, Reddit algorithm suspended your account (if it was quite new, no surprise).
My advice: try to create a new account and invest some time in developing it without sharing links. Let it be for a week at least, post your mobile images of flowers, cats, food in appropriate subreddits to earn some karma. Then you can slowly start sharing links, slowly and wisely.
Just one question my friend. How can I link my Hive account with reddit? Any tutorial o post?
Hey! You can do it here: https://hiveposh.com Login with Keychain and you'll see the way to link your Reddit account to Hive.
Thank you my friend. I'll be checking to do so 👍
I think it might help:

2000 monthly visitors is pretty big, hopefully that number keeps rising.
As you see I been trying to get into new communities with at least some good thousands of people in to get more visibility for hive, I think I added like 4/5 for now... It's not easy tough
I am glad you (and @dkkfrodo) started also sharing other people's posts and searching for new subreddits at some point - that's the best since, by that, you help many other authors get better rewards, spread information about HivePosh, and create engagement. Plus, better chances to get more upvotes/views on Reddit. (But don't overuse subs, please.)
Yup. I wanted subreddits for politics/news discussion, spent an hour, and failed to find anything friendly. The only one I know is r/NewsAndPolitics discovered by you. I am sure there are more places like that... but hard to find.
I been trying like 4/5 different geopolitical/news reddits but none of them have been welcoming, that one was the only one friendly and even with even engagement if the topic gets interesting for people
What you mean? Don't search for too many different reddits to avoid having a huge list ?
I mean we should be careful and avoid sharing too many links in the same sub. Some subs don't mind but other can change their attitude to links, even Hive-based ones, like Splinterlands, look at their upgraded rules:
One account was already banned and even suspended by Reddit - https://peakd.com/hive-197333/@beaker007/re-x-rain-sp1sxd
Oh yes, everything must be done with moderation, as always... I don't post more than once a day per community to avoid hive being seen as spam
In splinterlands reddit tough, you can't share a direct link too, you need to make a post, add some lines and the paste the link otherwise it gets like blocked
I made a post to the https://www.reddit.com/r/EatCheapAndVegan/ and the post got removed immediately. I made post like your screenshot above; title and link. What could be the reason?
