I wish I knew what you are talking about. What has changed besides the floor price? The only thing I am struggling with being explained properly is your feedback here. Sell your SIM to me! XD

You used to get migrants and workers which you had to educate to improve, but now it is some weird leaderboard you have to make? Before there was a time - believe it or not - where your buildings had actual income.
That was years ago bro. If you were playing actively during the beginning of the citizen experiment, you should have turned all your single population citizen cards into sick citizens to access the +3 tax refund that was being maxed. Plenty of developments since then have extended the games economic lifecycle including the minimum sick citizen tax refund. I have been playing for a few years now, so I know exactly what you are talking about. You can delegate 500 HP for a daily free citizen and ofc you already know about claiming the leaderboard. There are also plans to implement a new citizen claim for certain buildings on the next update. If you haven't looked into the max tax refund available from your building combines you may be surprised.
Have you looked into this? https://riseofthepixels.com/ It feels like a really fun game but I only started yesterday
yea it requires too much time for me to consider it as a good investment. probably one of the main reasons i like dcity is the passive "gameplay". If you haven't heard of the IMX gems campaign you may be interested in that as well.
