Hola amigos, feliz Navidad a todos, espero hayan tenido una hermosa noche este pasado 24 de diciembre. Hoy comparto con ustedes este dibujo de Santa, un personaje navideño que trae juguetes a los niños de todo el mundo en sólo una noche, teniendo un traje rojo y un hermoso trineo con varios renos voladores.

Hello friends, Merry Christmas to all, I hope you had a beautiful night this past December 24. Today I share with you this drawing of Santa, a Christmas character that brings toys to children around the world in just one night, having a red suit and a beautiful sleigh with several flying reindeer.

Muchos tal vez ya nos hemos tomado fotos con él en los centros comerciales en este mes de diciembre, además un gigantesco saco lleno de regalos es algo que todos los niños esperamos al verlo. Los materiales que use en este dibujo fueron lápiz, hoja blanca , colores, sacapuntas, lapicero y un borrador.

Many of us may have already taken pictures with him in the malls this December, plus a gigantic sack full of presents is something all children look forward to seeing him. The materials I used in this drawing were pencil, white paper, colors, pencil sharpener, pen and eraser.

Empecé haciendo la base del dibujo, un círculo para la cara, un triángulo para el gorro y un cuadrado para la barba. Luego empecé a darle forma al dibujo, haciendo más líneas, los ojos y definiendo mejor.

I started by making the base of the drawing, a circle for the face, a triangle for the hat and a square for the beard. Then I started to shape the drawing, making more lines, the eyes and defining it better.

Pasé a delinear el dibujo con cuidado, y luego borre las líneas a lapiz, y empecé a aplicar la primera base de color. Usando rojo en el sombrero, carne en el rostro y líneas plateadas en los detalles del sombrero.

I carefully outlined the drawing, then erased the pencil lines, and started to apply the first base color. Using red on the hat, flesh on the face and silver lines on the hat details.

Apliqué la segunda base de color, haciendo delineado con un color más oscuro en el sombrero, y aplique morado para la sombra de la barba y la parte blanca del sombrero de Santa.

I applied the second base color, outlining with a darker color on the hat, and applied purple for the shadow of the beard and the white part of Santa's hat.

Me gustó mucho este dibujo, la referencia que use fue una decoración de cabezas de Santa que están en el arbolito de navidad de mi casa. Un dato curioso de mi es que mi mamá se llama Santa, aunque todos los que la conocen la llaman Caty, es nostálgico ver que está es mi segunda navidad desde que mamá está fuera del estado, pero también la he disfrutado mucho gracias a mi abuela y mi primo. Les deseo tengan una feliz semana, ya la última de este 2021, que para mi pasó volando, aún recuerdo las navidades pasadas como si hubiesen sido recientes.

I really liked this drawing, the reference I used was a decoration of Santa's heads that are on the Christmas tree in my house. A curious fact about me is that my mom's name is Santa, although everyone who knows her calls her Caty, it's nostalgic to see that this is my second Christmas since mom is out of state, but I have also enjoyed it a lot thanks to my grandmother and my cousin. I wish you a happy week, already the last one of this 2021, which for me flew by, I still remember last Christmas as if it had been recent.
