If your goal is to not be tracked. You could always trade it into bitcoin and withdraw from your nearest BTC atm. You incur big fees but most all cities in the U.S. have an atm.
My goal is not necessarily to not be untracked. It is more to just make sure I am able to get my hive out and onto something basic. I'm not great at this stuff. I've never sold any hive before. I miss bittrex lol
Yes Bittrex was pretty useful back in the day. I am in the UK so I can use Coinbase to cash out if I need. But I always go through stealthex.io to switch Hive to Litecoin, the Litecoin is then sent to my Coinbase wallet. Could you not try that route?
It is pretty easy to swap on swapzone

Any of those you can swap to btc or a dollar peg.
From btc or many dollar pegs you can send to coinbase and get to fiat.
I checked on your wallet. Seems you are fully powering down. Yet you also seem to have been pretty active here on hive… are you leaving the chain?
I'll never leave. I just want to be liquid in case of a big pump and then buy back in on the dips. I'm just not sure how to move things around. I'd be happy going from Hive to HBD and reverse but when HBD depegs you don't get the value. But I also want to have a formula to get hive into my bank account in case I ever need the $$ lol

If you have coinbase… it’s pretty easy to get it there. The litecoin way mentioned above is also good because it’s not so costly to shift it.
I could be wrong and certainly nothing is a surety in the crypto world. But my understanding is that the HBD peg has been way stronger than the Steem days.
That it has withstood several attacks and won them all.
But ya never know.
I'm confident in HBD. I love the 15% interest. I'm just not great at dipping out and back in because it often pumps when hive pumps so I get confused on what I'm getting. I would guess I'm a hive maxi lol. that's why it's hard to move
