Now this is a very pleasant sight I think you'll agree! And I must admit I didn't expect to wake up to the price of Hive moving towards the $0.60 mark - absolutely fantastic!
Hive started pumping last night again and of course Upbit was the exchange that recorded the most volume of Hive trading accounting for 76% of all trade in the past 24 hours. Just take a look at that trade volume it's off the scale!
So what the hell is going on? Does anyone actually know?!!!! I don't! Hive is up 50% in one day as a result and we should all have big smiles on our faces. But where will it pull back to I wonder? Whatever point it falls back to I don't mind just so long as it can keep locking in some gains and settles higher than its previous position of $0.39.
If Hive can do that, as it has been doing in these recent pumps, then the pattern of strength building continues. Hive's performance has been robust of late and it is continuing to perform optimally. This is all very encouraging indeed. Hive is outperforming so many of the other alts. Let's hope it can continue and return to that all important $1 mark again.

this is so cool but I have no escape plan. I ultimately need to figure out how to get a little hive off the chain and into coinbase because I am in the US. It doesn't seem that easy lol
If your goal is to not be tracked. You could always trade it into bitcoin and withdraw from your nearest BTC atm. You incur big fees but most all cities in the U.S. have an atm.
My goal is not necessarily to not be untracked. It is more to just make sure I am able to get my hive out and onto something basic. I'm not great at this stuff. I've never sold any hive before. I miss bittrex lol
Yes Bittrex was pretty useful back in the day. I am in the UK so I can use Coinbase to cash out if I need. But I always go through stealthex.io to switch Hive to Litecoin, the Litecoin is then sent to my Coinbase wallet. Could you not try that route?

I'll never leave. I just want to be liquid in case of a big pump and then buy back in on the dips. I'm just not sure how to move things around. I'd be happy going from Hive to HBD and reverse but when HBD depegs you don't get the value. But I also want to have a formula to get hive into my bank account in case I ever need the $$ lol

If you have coinbase… it’s pretty easy to get it there. The litecoin way mentioned above is also good because it’s not so costly to shift it.
I could be wrong and certainly nothing is a surety in the crypto world. But my understanding is that the HBD peg has been way stronger than the Steem days.
That it has withstood several attacks and won them all.
But ya never know.
I'm confident in HBD. I love the 15% interest. I'm just not great at dipping out and back in because it often pumps when hive pumps so I get confused on what I'm getting. I would guess I'm a hive maxi lol. that's why it's hard to move

It's incredible isn't it?! But I wonder how long it can sustain for? Why do you think the Koreans are so into Hive? I heard they were a bit annoyed at the way the legacy chain treated them, anything to do with that do you think?

I'm not fully sure. I did watch a video recently talking about the South Korean economy. It’s 29th biggest population in world but 12 biggest economy. This Asian tiger is tech driven. With Samsung and LG and Hyundai, i can only imagine that a few rich kids could be trying to show daddy that they can play like the big boys. Kinda like how the trump kids are into crypto… lol. 🤣
