Suggesting that I get a career outside of social media because I stand up for the fact that this kind of clear harassment on this platform is a barrier for adoption is a really sad take. If you're not familiar with me, I deal with trolls and hateful comments all the time, it comes with the territory of standing up for what is right in an industry that could truly care less about its people. The reason I'm talking about this for Hive is because it does need forward push to adoption, you saying that adoption didn't matter was also very sad. I'm really disappointed in all of your responses here. I've attached the Bernie comments so you can have a much clearer idea of what I am saying. It's not a little bit of good spirited trolling & its locked in combination with specified targetting of all my posts to bring them to zero, which he can do - even if other whales all vote for me. This is a toxic culture and you should be open to reexamining the situation instead of just shutting people down and insulting their ability to use social media in the first place. You are a prominent voice, you saying things like this creates a very harmful narrative.

Look at all of those facts about you!!!
You’re going learn learn a very hard lesson here, sweetie. Bitch dont know when to stop, but, you're gonna learn.
Good job driving her away !
She is so toxic and thinks she actually matters to hive.
I was laughing when she was threatening to never post on hive again... as if we give a fuck lol
I don't appreciate your continued mischaracterization of my statements. I didn't say "that adoption didn't matter".
I think I've been fairly clear, but I'll try to say it another way: It's not that we don't want platform growth here, we do. We just don't want that growth at the expense of centralized censorship of the entire platform.
But if your claim is that the only way to growth this platform is to put someone in charge of censorship for the entire Hive platform, I invite you to move to one of the many CCP-censored social media platforms. They will happily remove any abuse/porn, and as a bonus, any political speech that they may whimsically decide is threatening to them.
If your goal is to operate in a censored space on Hive, there is a solution: you can create your own community. I saw that @stellabelle told you this already on another post, and I echoed her suggestion there.
Using this method, you can mute anyone you want within your community, not only for yourself, but also for anyone else who is visiting your community. This allows you to create a space where you have full control and can curate the content in that community.
You also have the much simpler option of just muting accounts posting offensive messages, if it's just a matter of you don't want to see them.
As a side point, I wonder about your social media experience to date, if you consider trolling to be "good spirited". It sounds like you're confusing someone being mildly sarcastic and/or joking around, with a true troll. True trolling is not generally "good spirited". It's often intended to drive the person being trolled into a state of extreme anger where they don't think clearly. It's almost never fun to be trolled. But there are several solutions on Hive to avoid being trolled, if you would only avail yourself of them.
