Our nation's at a crossroad

It's an interesting time in America, and perhaps the world. In these uncertain times, our country finds itself at a cross road as what I believed were common American ideals appears to be giving way to an alternative direction. When did our citizen's become so disillusioned by economic and political instability as to lose sight of who we are as a people? The other day when I saw Zelenksy humiliated in the White House, I saw the end to American greatness. That day we casted aside any notion of respect for others, any belief that freedom is worthy for all, and any trust in the idea that American values were values worthy of defending. The cheers by the a good portion of the country rang hollow as we crumble as a noble people.
