Giving this Titanic Meme place on the blockchain
Today was little different than my usual days, as it started of with a random brain fart on Facebook. The post, as shown below, talks about the fact that most people forget we live on the same earth, sometimes in the same country or even same community as others. And that disrespectful and reckless individual behavior could end up hurting us all.
I recently admitted that one of the reasons that I never venture out on my own, is because I was an only child and I have had my fair share of lonely experiences, that I now know it is better and fun to have someone around. I also know that I have been in really fortunate and privileged positions in my life, but that things aren't always what they seem, and those 'fortunate and priviliged' position can as easily turn into a negative position if approached incorrectly.
But, what hurts me most is that people truly think that we aren't in it together. That they don't understand that we can achieve so much more when we put our differences aside and look what we have in common. The amount of potential should outweigh any doubt. But, we refuse to look at the bigger picture, because some of us are trying to survive and some of us are looking for any personal gain they can get. In the end, we end up with a broken shipwreck. And we complain about the renovation costs, even though we are responsible for tearing it down.
Today, I went 13 out of 20. It could easily have been 15.
And what that meant? Maybe, I'll share it tomorrow.
Or tomorrow will be a totally different freewrite. Who knows.
