I hope @splinterlands doesn't get cold feet transitioning to hive. I see running on steem as a huge liability, worse long term than a bunch of Korean players bailing (which would of course would be painful short term). The major risks I see are:
- Overall stability and security of the STEEM blockchain
- Justin Sun makes good on his original promise of making STEEM a tron token (I feel as though the stage is being set for this now)
- Splinterlands is sabataged in order to promote a Tron-owned competitor or knock-off
- Individual users get prevented from interacting with the blockchain via additional forks
