RE: Announcing Four New Speakers for HiveFest and introducing Conference Venue Day 2!

Well don't you get it by now fool.

Hive was never about expanding.

It's a cash cow for a few greedy cunts sucking the 'poor people' carcus down to the bone.

Plus @rolandp needs a walker to get around these days, he can't travel far so @lordbutterfly offered his home which is already fitted out with ramps and shit since he forsees himself getting huge.

Seriously though hivefest should be renamed Sadfest. The same 'dinosaur devs' repeating the same pitch to each other ... "what I'm building.. duurp!!".

Fuck man the rest of the crypto world actually references hive as the example of how not to do things.

The silver lining however is what you pointed out...

That poor countries are what are active and at least the few dollars they get goes a long way for them.

People always go where the grass is greener though and there's quite a few chains/crypto projects that are really moving on the SocialFi space so I predict the CARCUS one day rising and walking off before the vultures pluck out the eye balls.

I just can't see Hive ever recovering, specially if the same devs stay on. People that look into "investing" (gambling) with crypto things seriously take that into consideration and even if these dinosaur devs eventually build something worthwhile no one would put their money into a project where the devs sucked the DHF DRY for themselves first.

That's why meme coins are hot. At least there everybody knows that IT'S ALL ABOUT sucking the life before the next guy. There never needs to be the promise of building anything. Plus they're so much fun and fitting to the whole degen era that crypto is to Western cashed up users.

HIVE's "blogging for rewards" clearly doesn't entice westerners. It did back in Steemit days but those days are long in the past.

Anyway I enjoyed reading your input. It's good to see some critical minds here pointing out the issues but really..

TL;DR: revert back to my first few lines in this comment if you couldn't be bothered reading all that I wrote.

off to much of the hype? Is it all about price? Isn't it a beauty in itself to have build a community around this initiative which enabled all these "dinosaurs devs" building? Or those boreholes being put out there. What is it all about? We are all here as I like to refer to just "a couple of rounds of the sun". What to do with our time? Everyone who is passionate about something which has a Hive connection might want to share with fellow passionates IRL, for which Hivefest could be a meaningful way to connect. One of many. I mean there are more than a few Hive related meetups.peace! I agree with what you are saying about "poor countries" but also like you to read @livinguktaiwan is chiming in above! Are we living

How would you envision Hive growing? Hive is for everyone and imho any idea can be executed when properly envisioned and shown out there. You mention "blogging for rewards" does not do it, so what would it take to see Hive "recovering" (your words)?

Genuinely curious in your thoughts! thanks, (revert back to my opening:) peace!
