So the woodstove and bucket shower system is something to be denied? Does Melanie get to have proper showers or does she have to use that ridiculous battery pump after heating the water? You better get that stove guarded properly, it isn’t child safe at all.

Oh? Comfortable is being able to step into the shower, turn the water on and actually have a long hot shower. Your method is what some people might put up with for a short time, but not permanently.
Some people are not cut out for off grid living.
Some people are not cut out for survival if the grid goes down.
Out here the power goes out a lot. Its good to have fully off grid options, especially in the dead of winter.
You’re not cut out for off grid living, I think that’s pretty obvious. You’re also not a competent survivalist, you’ve demonstrated that when you showed how to use that sawyer water filter completely the wrong way. How often has the power gone out at your property since you’ve been there?
Oh I think I am doing just fine after 5 years. Out in NY I was a mile from the last road and did very well I think.

I intentionally used the water filter the way I did and explained that fact on the video. But as you guys always do, you take things out of context.
