What kind of apples? They sort of look like Macintosh. You said they were tangy and Macs are sort of tart. I guess it doesn't matter when they become apple sauce. Nice orchard.

They are good old Macs @outwalking! They are super tangy which makes them so good when they are dried in rings. We eat them like chips. Each freezer bag holds 5 lbs of dried apples and it's easy to sit down and eat a whole bag. :)
They look crisp. I had a granny smith in the back but it gave up the ghost. Thank for the tour around the orchard. Have a good day.
