On the picknick I'll bring some chocolate mousse, some wild smoked Alaskan Salmon, avocado, cucumber, Castelvetrano olives, some of my perfect mackerel salad with plenty of celery, fresh Romano beans steamed to perfection, Mcconnell’s Mint Chip ice-cream, really good ginger cookies, flan, affogato, perfectly braised lamb, a few kinds of cheese - sheep’s farmhouse cheese, Humbolt Fog, and some delicious Israeli feta, fresh figs, dates, pomegranate, pear, some raw honey, some Himalayan sea salt Bulletproof chocolate, really good carrot, some super crunch romaine lettuce with pieces of butter-sautéed herbed shredded chicken inside, a soft-boiled 6 minute egg with salt, kelp and some Nori, lots of fresh sugar snap peas in the pod, crusty Grand Central Bakery baguette with salty Irish creamy butter, a few Speculaas.@natureofbeing, I would LOVE to have a picknick with you. Someday. Some of your answers were so recognizable to me, I believe we have a lot in common!

(And I'm Dutch, so I can bring you real Speculaas.)

Hello @soyrosa! Oh yes please bring the authentic Speculaas!! The Dutch have a few kinds of this delicious spiced treat and I like the two I've tried - the crunchy cookie, the soft cake-like loaf YUMMY. I love your idea of a picnic....so perfect now as we've become friends on steemit to be able to meet in person with all of our favorite foods!

Would you believe me if I tell you we even have little Speculaas sprinkles that you can put on a sandwich? If you've ever seen our Hagelslag (chocolate sprinkles) you will now know what I mean. I'll bring those as a bonus :-)

Hahaha, really?? That's so funny! And I LOVE those chocolate sprinkles you put on buttered bread. oh I craved it like crazy years ago after living in The Netherlands for awhile and coming back to the US and at the time (1990s) there was nothing here even close to those delicious rich chocolate sprinkles. Yes please bring both the chocolate and the speculaas flavored sprinkles :-)))

LOL! I had no idea you have lived in my tiny country! Love it. I can imagine a thing like that becoming a craving after going back home. I'll bring both, for sure!

I lived in Holysloot (6km outside of Amsterdam) for 6 months in 1989-90 and was doing a sort of apprenticeship at a tiny tea house-pottery there. I loved riding my bike through the sweeping landscapes of grasses, water, cows and rows of trees.
