RE: The great peanut buttering of 1982 - A story from my youth

in #humor3 years ago

I was more thinking of traditional shacks like umm, acorns and fucken roots and tubers or whatever. 😁

Elk sounds ok, salmon, lobster and crab too. I can handle that. Bannock tacos will also be awesome. Pemmican sounds a lot like trail mix with a difference so I reckon I'll be gtg.

I'll live well it seems, during my training to become a native Indian. 😆

Sort:

We don't eat pemmican anymore but it was like a super protein/high energy mix for long travels. Sounds gross but it used to be a thing. We have roots and stuff, yes, that is in the wild edibles, berries , wild veg classification I descried. It's just different all over Canada, it's a lot of land and not all the same! and there is too many to list. Many plants and their roots are edible. You can make a similar tasting drink o coffee with toasted dandelion roots.

Acorns are for squirrels, we eat the spruce tips...feels less scratchy on the tongue XD

You will survive just fine!

Lol. I'm such an idiot sometimes mostly.

lol nothing wrong with having fun! I noticed everything seemed to taste good to you except buffalo...is that your spirit animal?

Well, I feel a strong affinity with the Buffalo but; I'm buff, they're buff. But...Fuck it, I'd chow down on it!

Taste good. Very lean meat too. You just come across as like a bull in a china shop type person...lol

Haha, well I guess I can be in certain circumstances and when it's required, but there's many sides to me, some the complete antithesis of the others. I'm multifaceted I suppose. Mostly good value, but sometimes need an attitude adjustment. 😉

Just so you know, I've got bull in a china shop moves and some soft and tender touches as well. Circumstances dictate which is appropriate.

It's all about balance I guess!

Nothing wrong with being multifaceted. I think everyone is...you usually call yourself simple tho...what's up with that :p
