Hi to all my friends, Today I am going to write this article as we all know our Independence day is coming it is on 15th August and as a Indian I am writing this blog to support my nation and respecting my nation. I don’t want to write too much for it as we all know our freedom fighter they fight for us to get this day and we can live a good life as we are living right now. As a travel agent I always try to write article on different place but today as a Indian I m just writing this.

. Our soldier they are protecting us all day 24*7 from our enemy and as a showing respect to my Military and my National Flag kindly resteem it to every Indian. So just as a respect of our soldier I just want to say JAI HIND and VANDEMATRAM.

You are committing bid bot abuse.

The post creator is a known Steemit copycat / plagiarist who has copy/pasted content 3 times in the recent past already.

Bid bot abuse is the excessive use of bid bots to upvote low-quality / spam-like / non-original content. It will get flagged by the Steemit community.

This post can be considered spam because:

• There is hardly any valuable information except “Indian Independence day is on 15th August”.
• The main source of value for this post stems from an image which has been copy/pasted without permission from a copyright-protected website.
• The level of English (grammar, syntax, vocabulary) is very low.
• The post is begging for resteems.
• As everyone can see on steemstats.com, 98% of upvotes for this post come from 7 bid bots which the post creator has activated.

While it is perfectly acceptable to make high-quality content more visible by using bid bots, it is highly discouraged to misuse them to generate unfairly high payouts for low-quality content and will result in flagging by the Steemit community.

First of all, from a copyright point of view, it is not enough to simply mention an image source. If an image is protected by international copyright law you need to prove that you have explicit permission to use the image.

The image you have used comes from a website which explicitly explains: “The Content is Copyrighted to AtulHost and May Not Be Reproduced on Other Websites”.

So you are clearly breaking international copyright law. Apart from that, stealing other people’s work to make money from it is highly unethical, morally wrong and very unfair.

• Please delete the copyrighted image which you have used without permission to avoid legal trouble.

Refer to the Steemit FAQ which holds tips on where to find images which you can freely use in your posts.

The rest I have already explained in my comment. Large parts of the Steemit community see it as an unfair manipulation to excessively use bid bots on low-quality posts.

Summoning 7 bid bots for only a laptop screen worth of text of low public interest is very unfair to other authors who put in much more effort to get their share of the Steemit rewards pool.

• If you want to become an honest member of the Steemit community, you should rely primarily on the upvotes received from users who honor your post quality, not on bid bots. Otherwise, you may be put on several blacklists, and get flagged.

Please, again, read the Steemit FAQ carefully. You should not participate in this community if you don’t understand or don’t agree with its rules.

Congratulations on your effort to educate yourself on this topic!

In order to find out what is considered “good content”, you may want to study some of the points I mentioned in my comment above. Let me summarize what I think is important:

• As a rule of thumb, I recommend that about 80% of your content should be your own unique original content.
  • For instance, one image from an external source to illustrate a laptop screen of text you have written is about an accepted ratio.
  • Note that quality matters as well. You cannot take an image from an external source and fill the rest of the screen with random text just to cover the 80% ratio.
• Don’t use copyrighted material in your post. I have already explained where to find copyright-free images.
• Mark which part of the content was not created by you, cite, name, and link the original creator of the content.
  • For each part of the content which was not created by you, you must state the name of the original creator and link to the original resource (e.g. the website on which you found the content), for example: “This photo was taken by {Author name}, {Link to the website}.”
  • In the case of an image, link to the website where the image was originally embedded in, not directly to the image file address.
• The language level (grammar, syntax, vocabulary) should be high.
  • The easiest solution for you is to write in your first language. For instance, if you are part of an Indian community on Steemit, you may have a large audience who would enjoy Hindi texts. It’s even more okay to use bid bots to promote quality non-English posts.
  • If you still want to write in English, you may want to write your text first in a Word processor an use auto-correction for grammar errors. Use a thesaurus for vocabulary variety. Or use an English-speaking friend for proof-reading.
  • A third option is to write a post bilingually, e.g. Hindi + English with the same text. If the Hindi is perfect, it’s not so bad if there are a few small errors in the English part.
• Text layout should look professional.
  • Learn and use markup to emphasize important words and sentences.
  • Structure your text in paragraphs with sub-chapter titles. No formatting errors like sudden line breaks or weird punctuation.

Other tips:

• The more original content is in a post and the higher the quality, the more it is accepted to use bid bots.
• It’s recommended that you start writing your own content without using bid bots at all. Public interest will show you how good your posting quality is, and what you need to improve.
• If you really want to become an honest member of the Steemit community, you also need to be careful not to support / upvote other plagiarists / Steemit abusers.
