Nagasari is one of the traditional cake originating from Indonesia, until now, it’s not yet known with certainty of its origin from which region in Indonesia. In Balikpapan city this cake is called Pais Pisang (pais means cooked wrapped in banana leaf, pisang means banana). Nagasari cake made from rice flour or sago flour (mostly rice flour), coconut milk and sugar, in the dough is filled with bananas, after that wrapped in banana leaves, then steamed until cooked. People are used to make Nagasari, using banana kepo (plaintain).
