Hello and thank you for writing about such an interesting topic. I am having great inner debates about this new era that is looming over us. But like like you I like to think into what will come and find comparisons in the known world. Maybe this is all part of our destiny and we will join those who have coached us through the millennia, with coded carvings and such-like. I have just learned about the Indian sandscripts that give instructions for Atomic propulsion. If that is true them we are all on the right path.
Now that would be true if our leaders were morally just, but they are certainly not. Our jobs will soon all be automated and even with the jobs we have, the gov can't get rid of us quick enough. Once manual labour has been automated and there are no jobs for the lower classes, they will then have no use for a large section of society. If you were a leader of the world(And a crack-pot, just like them) what would you do with your excess cattle?
We are being taught to accept robots, but not as our helpers, but as our successors. They wrap all their(the gov) gift in a big shiny bow, but we never see the hidden agenda until it is too late.
There is a famous movie called "westworld"(The old one with Ule Brinner, not the latest version) and it is about a robotic theme park that you can visit to quench any desire you have. It dawned on me that although the main characters in the movie are "commoners" I have since realised that it is Hollywood and only half-truths are served here. When "westworld" comes into reality, it wont be for commoners to enjoy, it wiil be for those who are chosen to survive... Why would they give us this luxury now, after so much tyranny?

We are not close to westworld yet. Closer on the bodies than the minds. There is a danger from Expert Systems, but the danger is from less sophisticated things than the Androids of Westworld.
They are overselling these things. They are not as sophisticated as they are making it out to be.
Yes the D-wave machine seemed to be a bit of a half-way compromise with true Nano-tech. I don't think anything can be said for certain as they lock up details for 100's of years or purchase tech and copywrite it so it never gets to the mainstream.
I totally agree with the "overselling" thing. They have to in order to make it appealing to us all. We simply don't get given good things by 'big-bro' and over-population is just another disguise for replacing us with much more economic models.
Dude, you speak in riddles and assume far too much. I really don't see how you get the impressions you do and as for the "cattle" remark, what makes you so impervious? Are you not using their internet, electricity, crypto-currency? You seem to think you are above it all but I bet you are just as helpless as the rest of us when it comes down to it. I ain't no cattle, but I'm also no fool and ignorance is not bliss.
Look if you wanna try be a smart arse, do it on your own time, but all I am trying to say to you is that nobody really has any right to claim they know what is happening on the world stage. We are not party to the meetings and all info is at least 2nd hand. The "cattle" remark you keep harking back to was just me generalising in order to depict an overseeing gov that controls the farm. It wasn't meant to be taken so personally, but you have chosen to reply and state that I do not speak for you(I think that is what you were saying) I was not speaking for you, it was just my opinion. Even so, does a cow have to be aware of its status in order for it to be fact? You may give yourself any title you wish, but while you live on planet Earth, we share the same reality and that reality is one of oppression and very little in the way of justice for the common man. If you take the time to look into what this post is about you will know that they talk about us LIKE cattle. They want to improve us and make us more efficient, all with the use of nano medications. You may also have heard about the recent case in the UK, were the gov gave the OK to the NHS to go ahead and terminate the life of a child who was being offered medical assistance elsewhere. If you think you live outside of this world, then you may get a shock when you end up old and in hospital with a board at the bottom of the table that reads "do not resuscitate". Maybe then you will see that we are all treated like cattle, regardless of whether you think so or not.

I am a Lawful Rebel and that means I have signed my allegiance to the Barons committee, not the government. I question police officers(face to face) I do what's called "lobby the Bobby" were I send lawful notices to police constables. I send similar lawful notices to anyone acting against me, my friends, or my family. I send money to other lawful rebels who face adversity while carrying out the more serious action of peaceful rebellion. I attend seminars and arrange local talks to spread the word about the corruption within our government and show folk how they can lawfully protect themselves.
So you see, I speak from experience. I live in this society and know very well that ANY kind of revolutionary acts are only allowed to go so far(Just ask those from Catalan). Once you get to a certain point, they abuse the law and assault and imprison you. That is fact and I don't think that you stand outside of this injustice(unless you are a copper?).
Just out of curiosity, when was the last time you challenged or questioned your towns MP, or Police service? Or do you just stick to trying to belittle folk, by talking down to them?
