It always makes me thing of the Anti-satanism pamphlets that show the symbol for "I love you" as being Satanic.

But there is a huge difference between Christian fanatics and leftism worshippers:

• It is empirically impossible to disprove the existence of G!d
• the empirical evidence re: the track record of leftism strongly suggests it's failure as an economic system, and an even stronger link between leftism and both tyranny and democide (for newer readers, check out Rummel)

So the common idea is the faith exhibited in both religions; a faith that can't be proven on one hand, but which is disproven with every murder, mass murder, and economic failure perpetuated bt the cultists of the left
