RE: China to ban citizens with bad 'social credit' rating from taking flights or using trains for up to a year

Look I understand your point and am not in total disagreement but - why not give them the benefit of doubt? So far the Chinese system seems to be working and her citizens are happy, at least that's what some pools tell us. So let's at least wait to see where it all ends.

Sort:

Ever been to China and one of its public buildings and have hundreds of pictures taken while you are there? Ever talked to a Chinese citizen about their feelings of the government? I have done both. They don't like it at all. They simply live with it and try to ignore them as much as possible and mind their business. They don't like not being free to search the entire internet. Ever wonder why Chinese wealth continues to leave for countries where they can park their cash and live a better life?

Hmmm fair point. Guess as humans we ultimately yearn for freedom.

Why don't you ask the buddhist in Tibet how they feel about being oppressed and killed by the Communist Chinese. Ask them if they like fearing for their lives for practicing their religion.
