Upvoted and followed! These are certainly the conversations that we need to be having. I do however get incredibly frustrated at the whole far-right - nazi equivalency we constantly hear spouted out. I don't understand how the Nationalist SOCIALIST party can be considered right wing but I'm happy to listen if somebody is willing to explain it to me :)

They are National socialists, Mussolini was a famous marxist. If you watch the video you will see that he places Nazi's right on the bottom with all the other Authoritarian socialist scum.
Yeah, I watched the vid. I just mean in general where do people even get the sense that Nazism is a right-wing ideology, when in fact they were socialists, which means they are Marxists which puts them on the left. It seems to me that the left has such a huge death toll in the last century that they've played a little game and pretended that Nazism is a right-wing ideology when in fact it is a form of Marxism (left-wing) just to try to make it look like the scales are somewhat balanced on the left and the right which simply isn't true. Marxism has killed HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS in the last century. I understand the point that you (and the video) are trying to make and appreciate it and agree to a large extent, however I would argue that conservatives tend to be more on the libertarian and pro-small government side of the spectrum at their core and that the left being more for big-government are authoritarian by definition.
