It is nasty stuff. Have you done anything with doing one of those inflammation reducing diets? There are a lot of foods that help reduce inflammation, as well as staying hydrated. Some of the people I listen to podcasts here and there would recommend filling a 128oz jug each morning and by the end of the day you have to have drank the whole thing. DON'T drink too much at once though as it just gets pissed out, your body will do an emergency dump if you drink like 30 oz of water within an hour. You need to drink like 8 to 16 oz every hour on average so your body doesn't dump it, it dumps it because it "thinks" you are over hydrated when you drink too much at once.
Also, doing any kind of physical fitness/therapy to help it as well.
I also discovered the backpain I have had for years is actually being caused by my pillows not being the right size. If your neck is being pushed upwards all night it pulsl on your hips/neck/spinal muscles and you will have pain all day from it. I started sleeping on the floor with 3 wool blankets and started using a pillow that is about as high as the distance between my shoulder and where my head is(like 4 inches). The pillow i was using before was like a 6 inch high pillow and was causing me to push my neck from a 0 degree angle to like a 25 or 30 degree angle ALL NIGHT. AND my queen sized bed is like 30 years old and the springs are also contributing BADLY to it.
Sleeping on the floor with 3 thick wool blankets for my experiment I did for about 8 days in a row I had almost 0 backpain or stiffness. I went back to sleeping in my bed and the stiffness and all day backpain is coming back. If you are a side sleeper like me you also could be causing yourself the arm pain.
I have tested multiple positions sleeping on my back with no pillow(so I am flat and no angle being pushed up) and also having a big pillow underneath my calves so to raise them up slightly and it puts pressure down on the legs instead of my back. That also has worked well. Also recommend to do some epsom bath salts every day or two days, really helps when you combine all these things together. I have minor spinabifda so i will always have some slight backpain but doing all these things has helped me greatly. I used to have backpain so bad i would punch the muscles in the area in an attempt to massage it.
