SPI: The Flagship Growth Token of SPInvest
Launched in June 2019, SPI is the flagship growth token from SPInvest, embodying both ownership and governance over assets. As we enter our sixth year, our strength lies in focusing on established, long-term investments and continuing to expand SPinvest as the central hub for investment on HIVE.
Our Motto: Getting Rich Slow
Our portfolio boasts over 30 investments made up of HIVE and other top-ranked cryptos. We shun impulsive decisions, instead relying on secure, proven strategies. Since our launch, we've increased the value of HIVE by 7x and the overall dollar value of our fund by 12x making SPI the best-performing fund on HIVE.
We are committed to steady wealth accumulation, leveraging the power of compounding through consistent reinvestment. For SPI tokens, we recommend a holding period of 3-5 years to realize significant returns, perfectly aligning with our philosophy of sustainable growth and profitability.

SPI Incomes & Dividends
This week's HIVE income is on par with last week's at just over 600. There's not much change in anything, content rewards are up a little, leasing is down a little and dividends are about the same.
The bulk of our income is now coming from the @spi-store account that holds 200k HP and all of our dividends yielding HE tokens (expect BRO cause...brofi upvotes). 100k HP is being delegated to leo.voter which brings us around 215 HIVE per week and the other 100k HP is delegated to eds-vote to get EDS tokens, we get around 80-90 a week. We also earn HP inflation which equals 110 HP a week. When compared the main @spinvest made 274 HIVE this week from content, leasing and HP inflation while the @spi-store account made 330 HIVE from leasing and HP inflation. Over 400 HIVE if we included the EDS we got from @eds-vote.
I think we can say the new benchmark is to earn 600 HIVE a week and make dividends of 300.
SPI Fund Assets
In our HIVE wallets, not much has changed. Next week will be different because someone has requested a buyback for over 2000 SPI's and I'll be using our HBD balance to buy them back. After some thought, I'd rather use a stable token over selling off some FET, PEPE are ETH because they have a better chance to increase in price compared to a stable token. So yes, next week, our HBD balance will be drained.
In our HE wallets, we added 90ish EDS, a few DAB and we're sitting on the rest. Not too much action on HE these days and sometimes the prices of tokens dont change from week to week. I hope it picks up and liquidity gets deeper as we head further in the bullrun.
It's been a hell of a week for ETH with the news of an ETH ETF. What's next? XRP ETF, SOL ETF, DOGE ETF 🤣. Here, you know what's funny? We're a 5-year-old crypto fund and our 4th biggest holding is PEPE which we bought for $130. Next week, it'll be our 3rd biggest holding cause we'll not have HBD. We are just very HIVE heavy, we have 350k HP and our second biggest holding is ETH worth 35k HIVE and then our PEPE is worth 14k HIVE.
I plan to move the remaining HBD into a defi LP on pancake which should be in next week's table. Oh and our 5x ETH margin trade is doing nicely this week. We are currently up $690 on our $500 trade so plus 138% so far 😝.
SPI Token Price & Stats
The overall fund increased by 1.87% bringing us to plus 5% YTD with only 2 weeks gone. I'd say thats a decent start to the year. SPI token price is 5.6 HIVE and in a strong position with being so HIVE heavy.
On another note, not to sure what to do with the 2000+ SPI tokens we'll be buying back. Resell them are burn them? 🤔🤔
SPI's week in under 30 words (for those in a rush)
Weekly HIVE income stable at 600+. SPI-store is now main income source. HBD used for SPI buyback. Major holdings: HIVE, ETH, PEPE. Fund up 1.87%, 5% YTD. SPI token: 5.6 HIVE.

I think re-sell the SPI.
I'd like to but it's a pain selling them and near 2500 as well. I'll list them on HE for a few weeks and see what happens. I listed a few thousand last year from my own personal stack but only sold a couple of hundred in 2-3 weeks.
Good thing is, we're not in any hurry to do anything
Happy to be an SPI holder! ♥️
Happy to have you as a holder 🥳
Damn that's quite a lot of SPI being bought back..
I'd say resell them, or save some goir promo's/rewards for crosswords etc :-P
Especially since you have some thoughts on a spi 2.0, as burning this is kind of the opposite direction no?
It is alot to buy back at 1 time, this will be our 2nd biggest buyback since launch.
You've just sparked an idea with
I'd thought of reselling them on HE and using them for rewards for contests but I'd never thought to use SPI to get SPI 2.0 started. Interesting...
If "just thinking out loud" SPI 2.0 were pegged to 10% of a SPI, then I could burn (convert) the 2500 SPI we'll get from the buyback into 25k SPI 2.0 tokens. These could be airdropped to SPI token holders as part of a promotion launch.
Interesting 🤔, thanks for the thought
I personally like the idea, too. That would be a good way to jumpstart into the idea you previously mentioned in your article last week. You could maybe re-sell some on the open market, some will get bought, and the rest could be converted to SPI 2.0. In turn, liquidating more funds for you to grow over time as you've done very well since 2019 launch
It would be a great way to jumpstart SPI2 if we could do an airdrop for all token holders. I'll hold onto them for a while and see how I feel in a few weeks. I go through phases when I want to do a SPI2 token and other times when I think, Nah.
It's one of those 1-way door decisions so when it's out there, we cant bring it back. Not like EDSD for example that could be wrapped up today without affecting EDS.
Thanks for your support as always bro
Haha see, for me it's just thinking about how burning the current spi and thereby decreasing the availability goes against wanting to grow the fund and project. You turn it into a new idea with airdrops and everything, that's great!
Only thing is that the spi(2.0) created this way won't be backed by anything except for the 5% fee for the buyback, by airdropping everyone has a bit more spi that's worth a little less, right?
Still could be worth it in terms of promo if spi2 would be setup in a bigger way to be sold over a longer period
As it's all aimed for the long term I think having a long period of slowly selling isn't bad at all, build the fund slowly goes hand in hand with get rich slowly imo
