You have just started a tough journey - the good news is she was a fiancee and nothing more complicated than that. Here are some ideas - well a 4 step plan.
- Celebrate a lucky escape. It is not about you, it is about her.
- Do some running away - change the places, change the scenery, change the people. I do that on my bicycle - since my separation I have cycled across Australia 5 times. Bicycle is an amazing place to do what is needed for step 3 - a place to think uninterrupted while you take in the beauty of the world.
- Learn to love yourself.
- Rejoin the world a new person in command of you and what you can offer.
Good luck. Namste
Cycling in Australia sounds like fun. I have never been there, could jump on a plane and buy a bicycle there and ride for a month or two. Is it easy to sell the bicycle again when I leave?
I have no idea. A friend cycled all the way across on a $400 Kart special - no need to worry about selling at the end. Donate it. Have a look at eBay or Gumtree (a local buy:sell site) to see how cheap you can find a bike. Just have to work out how to carry the gear
