First Encounter

My name is Josanna. I have heard some awesome things about Steemit from my significant other so I got my butt in gear and made an account. Thanks for having me!

I am 21 years old mother of a 1 year old little girl, Alice. She is the best part of me. Watching her grow has been the most crazy, amazing adventure. I never knew someone at her age could be so intuitive. She is walking, talking and taking in almost everything she sees. I wish I could see the world from her point of view. What a trip that would be. I am so thankful to be a part of watching her grow and learn about this insane world. We also have a Shiba Inu, Koda. He is very independent and loveable. Super cuddly when he wants to be :P Alice and Koda are pretty great friends. They share all kinds of food and like to go on long walks.

About myself

I am an assistant manager at a UPS Store which has been a really amazing experience. I absolutely love my job and all the ins and outs that go with it. We pack and ship all kind of simple items and also some pretty crazy art pieces and creations. I started about 4 years ago with just packaging little things and was introduced to customer service. Over a year I had increased to electronic fingerprinting, laminating, printing, and passport photos. Since then my job world has completely changed, but in a good way. As assistant manager I have a lot of responsibility to keep the store in order along with expanding my knowledge on Graphic design to help increase our print center. We recently had a wide format printer put in after the expansion of the store. I have created posters, flyers, business cards, banners and even keepsake albums. I am a pretty creative and artistic person and to be able to apply that into this job has been really neat. I love the things this job entails and now that I can input that part of my personality it made me love it even more. Also, I love my co workers, we are like a second family and all are really open with one another. I have never had that experience in a work place before and I feel like any work place should be the kind of environment you can tell someone in all honesty how the place or people in the place are making you feel and it should be dealt with sincerity and understanding.

Things that I love are family, music, art and work.

I am mostly a classic rock kind of girl. The Eagles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blue Oyster Cult, The Doobie Brothers, Bob Segar, Creedence Clearwater, Don Mclean, Grateful Dead, Joan Jett, Lou Reed, Steppenwolf, Queen, The Rolling Stones, Santana, Steve Miller Band, Tom Petty, Van Halen, The Marshall Tucker Band, Peter Frampton, and so so many others.
