Thanks for checking out my profile. My name is Tom, and I started Keto Lifestyle as a way to teach people about the keto diet. When I first started following a keto diet in 2015 there was very little information available. For those of you unaware, a ketogenic diet is a diet that is composed of mostly fats and proteins with as few carbs as possible. This obviously can be hard with the way most people live, but it's getting easier to find food that fits these macros. Although now there is plenty of information, I still feel that it is very important to me to share my experiences and the tricks that I have picked up along the way.
My story begins as an always overweight child. I grew up wrestling and playing various sports, but was always the largest child around. I remember weighing around 130 lbs at 8 years old. Fast forward a few years and I was in high school. I stopped playing sports in favor of more technical related after school activities. I started gaining weight very quickly.
I began trying to lose weight with every diet imaginable when I started at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Nothing was working for me. I was even hitting the gym 5 nights a week. It was around my third year there that I discovered the ketogenic diet. At that point the weight almost magically fell off. Here is a picture from Fall of 2015 next to one in fall of 2017:
I have since helped many people start their keto lifestyles, and how seen the achieve great success. I want everyone looking for success in their health to achieve it, but the key to success is knowledge. I am here to provide that knowledge and encourage anyone that is struggling with their weight to keep on pushing.

Welcome to the community, congratulations on your progress, it is very clear that you worked hard. I have had a similar magic moment when I adopted a low carb approach at the beginning of this year and along with body composition improvements, my energy has increased so much! KCKO! :)
Not sure! I searched keto earlier and only found 9 videos! Figured I might be able to offer something to the community.
It's great to hear about your success as well. Low carb seems to do wonders for me. I feel bloated and tired when I'm eating carbs. I find that my body just performs better when it is fueled by fat.
I don't doubt that you have plenty to offer to the community! Spread the good news of avocados and yummy proteins!
I used keto to help jump start weight loss after struggling with binging and it was like night and day when it came to cravings to overeat and bored eating. I now use intermittent fasting and I never would have been able to eat only one meal a day and not feel hungry. Low-carb is my new way of life!

Ive been watching videos from Dr Berg but I dont understand really how to start one... I've been intermittent fasting but thats about it...not truly on ketosis.
