Okay so, Hey everyone.
Hope y'all are having a nice time?
So, i'm here to properly introduce myself considering the fact that I'm newcomer on the hive platform. If we're being honest, you're probably not wondering who I am or why I'm here but I urge you to just take a look at what I'm about to say about myself, who knows? You might find it a bit interesting. Let's delve right into it.
My name's Daniel Emmanuel Ifechukwu. The name "Light" came from the translation of my middle name, "Ifechukwu" which means "Light of God". I decided to use the name "Light " rather than Emmanuel because it is a rather rare name. You don't see alot of people bearing the name Light. On the other hand, Emmanuel is quite common so, yeah. I have a dual citizenship. But I'm mostly Nigerian. From Enugu state. I was born in the Republic of Benin which is near Nigeria. That explains why i have a dual citizenship.
My date of birth and age is such a hassle to explain so I'd like to leave that part out if y'all will permit me to. I'm from a family of five, i have two siblings.... A boy and a girl. Both older than I am making me the last child.
If I were to describe myself, I'd say I'm just a regular, everyday guy. Nothing particularly grandiose or exclusive. Honestly, I'm a lazy and nonchalant person. Not that I'm proud of it. I think myself a bit funny as well. I can't say I'm very outspoken but I do sometimes talk well when I'm with people i feel very comfortable with. I'm a bit shy as well. I have recently discovered that I have a talent for always having something to say. I'm not sure if that's a useful talent but I'll take it nonetheless. 😹 I'm a bit of a picky eater. For example, I don't like chocolate, pineapples, pawpaw, some certain variations of rice, lemon and lime, just to name of few.
This must be getting a bit boring right? Yeah, I'm not that much of an exciting person but just keep reading. It might not be very fun but it could be interesting. I am in the university. Just recently finished my first year. It was an eventful year, that. All in all, i'm glad that i'm done with it.
I'd like to share with you, some of my likes and dislikes. First off, I like gaming and watching series(Don't like movies all that much). In fact, i like anything and everything that allows me laze around and chill. I actually like having good and happy conversations which means, I like being happy in general. If there's any food i love, it'll be Beans.
As for dislikes, I don't like being sad or angry or depressed. I don't like being accused of a thing i didn't do. I don't like being insulted for no reason. Yeah well, that's about all i could think of.
The million dollar question here is,
WHY DID I JOIN HIVE?
There are times when my mind enters this "space" where i find i explore thoughts stemming from different scenarios. Be it past, present or potentially possible scenarios which would in turn lead to the outburst myriad of emotion which i kind of feel all at once and I'd have the urge to write down exactly how and what i feel when I'm in that "space". And so i thought, Hive might actually be a place where i can pen down my unending ramblings with freedom..... Without restriction. It should be fun as well as educative and enlightening not to mention engaging so, here i am.
I was introduced to hive by two females, @rachie05 and @oluchi31 . I'd like to think of them as friends of mine, although i met the latter just recently and I think i was a being a pain to her, I'm sorryyy.😹😩....not that it really matters. They both sufficiently explained to me, the concept and purpose of hive. To be honest, i wasn't very intrigued at first because I don't really consider myself to be someone who'd fit this kind of thing but after much thought, i decided to join hive for a rather Ordinary reason.
WHAT I PLAN TO CONTRIBUTE?
Honestly, i just want to share my thoughts and ideas about various stuff. I reckon i could also chip in stories and engaging stuff that could be helpful in the growth of the hive community in general.
