Thanks for the welcome. Yeah, I found out about the picture-or-you-might-be-a-bot sort of rule over a week into steemit when I was exploring the platform. It might help you connect with a lot of people was what I've read (or at least one of the reasons). Do come to PAL or #quiet-room. I've put the link.
