Hey there Steem community, it's great to be here! I'm brand new to cryptocurrencies and blogging so I'm about as green as you can get. I'm originally from Georgia, spent some time living in Chicago, and now reside in sunny Southern California. At my day job I work in mergers & acquisitions, but on the side I dabble in anything that makes (or loses) money - like cryptos, stocks, and even real estate.

The three day rule has worked very well for me in the stockmarket. For crypto, 3 days can be an eternity, but I still go by it. Most that can happen is you loose a little on the rebound but can save a chunk if the market got it wrong.

Definitely beneficial if you don't have access to options, as is the case with crypto and currently Robinhood, which is where I do my stock trading.

Welcome! Whenever I ask a traditional banker about crypto they tell me that they have to be Frank with me and that they don't know enough about crypto to help, so I'm glad your name isn't frank.
Bankers know nothing about cryptos. Only the techies have enough knowledge to really differentiate why one coin is a better investment than another imo.
I tried to get a mortgage using my crypto assets as leverage, my portfolio is like a mystery novel, the more they read the more questions they have :)
lol - if people think the crypto market is volatile now, i can't imagine what it would look like if trading crypto on margin became mainstream.
