Yes, I am. I started in January of 2017 and by September had lost 45 pounds. Most days I eat only supper, as much as I want of whatever I want, and I always have dessert. I did two extended water-only fasts. One for 48 hours and a second one for 5 days. I took the holidays off and gained 10 pounds, but have lost 6 of those since January 1st and with Lent three weeks away I'm looking forward to some extended fasting and sticking with a supper-only eating window and sticking to a ketogenic diet. The fasting has also resolved several health issues that I hope to write about in a future post. I've read 8 books on the subject of fasting to put diseases into remission. They have been doing it for hundreds of years. Who knew? Thanks for responding to my reply, sir! Chuck

Wow you lost 45 pounds and had a 5 day fast! I see you got some serious experience in that. Just be careful of not over pushing yourself too quick. :)

I read 8 books on fasting and intermittent fasting before the five-day event. A man by the name of Angus Barbieri did a supervised zero calorie fast that lasted for 382 days in 1965-66. He went from 456 pounds to 180 pounds. That is a .7 pound per day loss of weight. I hope to do a 14 day fast sometime this year.
