I would like to introduce six great people into the steemit world.
I am proud and honored that many of my friends have joined steemit after my recommendations. They have a lot to offer, and I am convinced they will achieve great success on the platform.
If you've ever tried inviting someone to steemit, the you'll understand how difficult it is to explain exactly what it is without having something similar to compare it to in terms they will understand.
I was lucky enough to have 8 friends (out of 11 total recommendations) sign up for steemit and give it a chance. 6 of them are currently active and posting!
Please help me thank and welcome @joviandres, @rgba, @redwood64, @arinfinite, @lazy-writer and @jaimusic.
@joviandres is the first friend I told about steemit. He has been active, consistent and supportive these past 2 months.
As he is an artist and photographer, I knew he had valuable content to offer and would fit right in.

I first met @rgba in an online mmo game called March of War.
The political atmosphere between our two factions had been brutal and guaranteed we become sworn enemies. @rgba and his faction leader @lazy-writer were truly worthy adversaries.
Somewhere during the devastation of raging war I befriended the enemy. I believe the mutual respect we had for each other grew equally with the tension devastation on the battlefield.
When March of War met it's fate and the servers were shut down for good, @rgba was one of the community leaders who stepped up and banded together in an effort to create a spiritual successor to the game.
We have worked together and been friends ever since.
My sister-in-law @arinfinite is extremely creative and talented.
She makes and designs hand made jewelry using all natural materials- some of which she dug out of the ground herself!

I heard she may start accepting crypto currency soon. I'm hoping steem and SBD will be an option.
@redwood64 is a good friend and old drinking buddy. We've had some pretty wild times, some of which I can't remember and others I wish to forget haha.
He has some fun stories to share, great pics and fun times.

I also met @jaimusic while playing March of War. He was a skilled tactician and worthy pvp opponent. We faced off on many occasions, and damn near conquered the world once we decided to work together.
@jaimusic is an incredibly talented composer. You should definitely take the time to check out the amazing pieces he creates!
He is also doing an astounding job with the soundtrack for the game currently in development with Solace Workshop.
@lazy-writer likes to play games and write when he isn't being lazy... We met during a particularly vicious feud between our two factions in March of War. It was a time where saying one word to the enemy was considerd treason worthy of a public beheading.
He was an excellent faction leader and always did what was right for his people. Somewhere along the line we became friends. He shared his poetry with me and I was quite impressed. Check out his posts, I think you'll enjoy his writing as much as I do.
Lazy is also working with Solace Workshop, developing the story line for the game in development. I'm excited to see how it all plays out.
Most of these guys joined just this week and have already shared some excellent content. I truly can't wait to see what else they have in store!

Awesome. Indeed it's pretty hard to explain steemit to other people because of it's complex design. I haven't yet made any friends join steemit :/
It sure is! One of my next posts will be about how I went about it, and why I think it was effective.

You are absolutely right @akrid, It's quite complex to explain friends to join the community! But sometime I just can't understand why they just don't naturally see the difference between Steemit and other social media sites!

You're right, it's easy to see the benefits. I think most of it has something to do with fear of the unknown.
I have been lucky enough to be able to withdraw some money from steemit, so at least I can vouch for that.
My next post will cover some of my considerations when deciding whether or not it's worth inviting someone to the steemit cool kids club xD

Same here @akrid! I actually go through all my post comments and reply to each and everyone everyday and also go through my whole home feed! It takes a lot of time, but I am really enjoying it!

Nice to know about all of them. Steemit community is growing for sure and people like you helping it with full enthusiasm. I;ll follow each and every one of them and would definitely try to know as much as I can from their blogs. In the end, we are humans and we should support all our peers . Thank you @akrid sir.

yeah, it's really hard to explain them what's steemit...the common question is where does the money come from....though i managed two of my friends to steemit.
Haha, it's funny and simple. The money is whatever people are willing to pay for it when you want to sell it.
