You are absolutely right @akrid, It's quite complex to explain friends to join the community! But sometime I just can't understand why they just don't naturally see the difference between Steemit and other social media sites!
Well I will keep on trying and bring the max on here! Btw I managed to bring my wife for now!
Cheers

Congrats getting your wife to sign up!
You're right, it's easy to see the benefits. I think most of it has something to do with fear of the unknown.
I have been lucky enough to be able to withdraw some money from steemit, so at least I can vouch for that.
My next post will cover some of my considerations when deciding whether or not it's worth inviting someone to the steemit cool kids club xD
That will be a really nice post @akrid, do put some tips too of how we can convince our friends in a better way to join here!
So glad you took time to reply mate!
Post interaction and conversation mean a lot to me. I make it a point to respond to constructive and positive comments ;-)
Thank you for taking the time.
What's your wifes steem name so I can follow her too?
Same here @akrid! I actually go through all my post comments and reply to each and everyone everyday and also go through my whole home feed! It takes a lot of time, but I am really enjoying it!
Her steem name is @creativewoman , she is still in learning mode though!
Thank you so much!
@progressivechef
That's awesome! It's a lot of work, but also a lot of fun!
