While I've known about steemit for some time, I continued to procrastinate signing up. But lately, I've read a number of articles about doing whatever it takes to get to where you want to be. And I decided that I needed to test my comfort zone and do something different. I'm very excited to be here.
So, a little about myself. I've been in banking and finance for many years as a product and project manager. As more of a hobby, I've been involved in the blockchain space. Mostly learning and coming to the conclusion that the true value of the blockchain is not just in coins and tokens, but in the decentralized applications, or dapps, made possible by this disruptive tech.
My goal in joining steemit is to become a more avid writer, learning as I go. While I'm not committed to any one topic, there is much I want to learn in the blockchain space. So, I'm hoping to add my views to the community and learn at the same time.
